Newsflash! Vikings invade Scotland!
Hello everyone!
In case you missed it, the colour of Loki six has been revealed. IT IS PURPLE!
Before too long I will have a full cover reveal for you. It will contain SPOILERS for who the afformentioned monsters are. Well, some of them anyway. For one of the monsters pictured, you'll have to read the book to find out the monster's identity. Unless you're psychic? Maybe you are.
In the nearer-term future, I am coming to Scotland THIS WEEKEND. I’ll be in Glasgow on Saturday morning, Edinburgh on Sunday morning. Come and see me!
In Glasgow, I’ll be at the Govan Stones museum - a site full of Viking carvings that I cannot wait to see. It will be a little different to my usual events - a Q and A delving deep into norse mythology. And, a little terrifyingly to me, in character as Loki. On the plus side, Loki’s character is basically me with no ethical brakes so it shouldn’t be THAT hard.
In Edinburgh, I’ll be doing a stage show with lots of audience participation - not mandatory, but for eager volunteers there will be many opportunities to come up on stage and help me act out Loki stories or make suggestions when I’m drawing. If no one says “bum” or “poo” as suggestions in the drawing portion I will be a) surprised and b) disappointed.
Off to pack my suitcase full of props!
